Almost 20 years to the day after Steve sold us the first Strathspey Trailmap, the new Badenoch & Strathspey map is ready. From an A4 sheet that covered Aviemore to Glenmore the map has grown to cover a vast area nearly 2000 sq km from Laggan to Glenlivet and Tomatin to the new Glen Feshie to Glen Tromie link track.

Now printed at a size of 62 x 32 cm and folded into a compact size of 18 x 8 cm the map shows and grades all the known cycling trails in the north and west part of the Cairngorms National Park. There are clearly annotated suggested routes and hazards such as locked gates are shown.

The countryside around Aviemore is perfect for both mountain and gravel biking. This area is part of the Cairngorms National Park and there is something for everyone. There are easy trails on flat terrain or hard climbs and fast descents for the mountain bike expert. On any ride or hike, you will see magnificent views of lochs and burns, ancient Caledonian pine forest and the Cairngorms Mountains. Try some of the suggested routes or just adventure on your own, using these maps and routes as a guide.

The map covers an huge area in Badenoch & Strathspey located within 30 miles of Aviemore. Situated in the heart of the Spey Valley in the Cairngorms National Park, Aviemore has excellent transport links including regular bus and train services from both central Scotland and Inverness.
