Laggan Trails are OPEN!!
AT LAST!!
Blue Fun Park - swoopy berms and easy bumps (pedal hard and they’re jumps) good fun for everyone, and at weekends there’s a shuttle to the top!
Red Route - now complete! Excellent, natural feeling singletrack with a the infamous Air’s Rock slab (it’s optional!) - not for the faint hearted. Well worth riding as a warm-up before tackling the black run, or in conjunction with the blue run.
Black Route - oh boy! This is the one! The gentle climb with the odd rock section to keep you on your toes does nothing to prepare you for the superb technical rock-fest that follows. The first three sections are called ‘Back Attack’, ‘Crack Attack’ and ‘Sack Attack’ which perhaps gives some insight into the twisted mind that devised this trail... This is a trail that demands you concentrate the whole time: momentarily elated after you clear one tricky bit, you find there’s an evil rocky step-up just after it and then straight after that there’s a huge slab with a great big wheel-grabbing hole at the bottom... If the Two Ton Drop don’t get you the Stiletto Staircase will... And, it’s really, really fun to ride - the bits you don’t ride (or just scrape down) you’ll be thinking ‘I know I’ll do that (better) next time!‘ MORE PLEASE!!
