The best areas for easy forest trails are Rothiemurchus Estate, Glenmore Forest Park & Inshriach Forest.
Rothiemurchus Estate
Pick up a trail map from Bothy Bikes and head straight off road onto some of the best riding in Scotland!
The route involves a visit to the very picturesque Loch an Eilein & links with the Glenmore trails.
There is now a fabulous off road return from Loch Morlich back to the shop!
Glenmore Forest
The routes around Loch Morlich, a few further along the ski road are particularly suitable for families as they take place on well made forest tracks.
Inshriach Forest
A huge area of forestry which has riding for all levels. The best area for gentle trails is the Moor of Feshie or the routes from the Feshiebridge car park.
The track from Inshriach Bothy to Loch an Eilein makes an excellent introduction to more challenging singletrack riding.
